Additionally I ask everyone to take part in the following relaxation exercise:
Close your eyes. Listen to your breathing – in, out, in, out. Think of the top of your head, relax your muscles.
Work down your body, relax the facial muscles, then the shoulders, chest, right down to the tips of your toes.
When you have relaxed all your muscles, sit there. Do not think of the world around you or your troubles; think of nothing at all except your breathing – in, out, in, out.
Stay like this for a few minutes and then open your eyes and return to the real world.
Are you relaxed? There are many relaxation exercises on the Internet. I like this one because it can be performed anywhere, needs no equipment and takes very little time. It works for me and I use it in stressful situations. If it does not work for you, find one that does.
